Glamping Tago

Hackathon Week

Six days. One team. Something real by Saturday.

Like our co-working weeks, but this time we build together. Pitch ideas on Monday, form small teams, build all week with Starlink wifi and a heated dome, and demo what you made on Saturday night.

Only 33 spots โ€ข Non-developers welcome

Oct 26 - Nov 1, 2026 โ€ข Tago, Georgia

Kickoff Monday. Demos Saturday.

Six days with a clear shape: pitch and team up on day one, build through the middle with daily check-ins, and show what you made on demo day.

Kickoff, pitches, and teams
Day 1Kickoff

Kickoff, pitches, and teams

Arrive, settle in, and gather in the dome. Anyone with an idea gets two minutes to pitch it. Then teams form around the ideas that pull people in - three to five per team, mixed skills. By dinner, every team has a name and a plan for tomorrow.

Day 2Build

First version

The building starts. The goal for today is the ugliest possible version of the thing that works end to end. Morning check-in, heads down, and a walk or sauna when your brain jams.

Momentum
Day 3Build

Momentum

The middle of the build. Teams find their rhythm, trade help across tables, and cut the features that were never going to happen. Hosts float between teams to unblock and challenge.

Day 4Build

The hard parts

Every project hits its wall around now. That's what the group is for: borrow a developer for an hour, get a designer's eyes on your landing page, rubber-duck by the fire. Evening sauna is mandatory in spirit.

Day 5Polish

Polish and prep

Feature freeze. Today is for fixing, polishing, and building the demo: what you show, who talks, what you claim. Short, honest demos beat big promises.

Demo day
Day 6Demo

Demo day

Saturday night, the dome becomes a stage. Every team demos what they actually built to the whole camp. Then we celebrate properly: dinner, campfire, music, and stories from the week. Sunday morning is slow, with a long breakfast and goodbyes.

A workspace built for shipping.

The heated geodesic dome is the hackathon floor: ergonomic chairs, big desks, Starlink plus mobile backup that handles video calls and heavy pushes, an espresso machine that never rests, and mountains in every window. Teams claim their corners on day one.

  • Heated dome, open day and night
  • Starlink internet plus mobile backup
  • Unlimited espresso, coffee, and tea
  • Ergonomic chairs and spacious desks
  • Whiteboards and space for team corners
  • Panoramic mountain views

A slow start for those who want it. The espresso machine is on either way.

Each team, two minutes: what we did, what we're doing, where we're stuck.

Part 2 ยท Days

Build

10:30 - 13:30
Build Block

Heads down in the dome. Library rules in the quiet corner.

13:30
Lunch

Step away from the screen. It helps, we promise.

14:30 - 18:30
Build Block

Hosts float between teams. Borrow skills across tables when you're stuck.

Part 3 ยท Evenings

Where the best ideas of tomorrow get talked into existence.

When you're not building

Well-rested teams ship better. Evenings and breaks are covered.

This was the highlight of our entire trip. Unfortunately, we only had time for two days, but we could have easily stayed for the whole week. Beautiful location, excellent accommodation and warm, kind-hearted and professional staff. Oh, and the food is cooked by Local Mothers, so you know it's good! The tent/yurt sauna with a wood stove and cold water basin, along with the campfire were among the highlights, perfect gathering spots for conversation and connection. And when you get up in the morning to wash your face, you're greeted by this amazing view. Good things tend to attract good people, and this camp is proof of that once again.

Everything was absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, it truly felt like home. The place is spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. The views are just breathtaking, you can sit and stare for hours. We stayed in one of the tents, and it was such a lovely experience, clean, warm, and full of charm. ๐ŸฅฐThere's a heater and a wood-burning stove inside, and the scent of the firewood adds such a cozy, comforting atmosphere. Everything smelled fresh and pleasant.๐Ÿ’ž It's not just a place to eat or stay, it's a feeling. And I have to mention Nina, the hostess, she's simply amazing. So warm, attentive, and full of positive energy.๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”

We came as a group of four for a weekend getaway at the glamping site and were absolutely thrilled! Everything, from the accommodation to the food at the restaurant, from the staff to the stunning mountain views, was perfect. This place is made for disconnecting from the city, spending time with yourself, enjoying nature, and coming back to your true self ๐Ÿฉต. There aren't many magical places like this on Earth, and Glamping Tago is definitely one of them. We'll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Glaming Tago, it's such a beautiful location with a lovely vibe. Anastasia made our stay fantastic, she is super accommodating and kind. It's a wee but out of the way to get too but so worth it, the food was lovely, the dogs were great, the yoga was a nice wee add on. They had table tennis bats but no table, only down side. But that's very minor. We loved every minute. Thank you!!

A closer look at Tago

Questions? We've got you.

No. Day one starts with a pitch circle: anyone with an idea pitches it, and teams form around the ideas that pull people in. Come with an idea, or come and join one - both work great.

Yes, please do. The best teams mix skills: design, marketing, product, content, and code. A team of five developers usually builds something nobody can use - your skills are what make the demos good.

Your team does. We claim nothing - no equity, no IP, no strings. If your weekend project turns into a company, that's the best outcome we can imagine.

Really fast. We've got Starlink plus mobile backup, so video calls, deploys, and big pushes are no problem.

Pitch it on day one - solo projects with helpers around them are welcome too. The spirit of the week is building together, so at minimum you'll present at check-ins and demo on Saturday like everyone else.

No death marches here. Evenings are for dinner, sauna, and the campfire - well-rested teams ship better. If your team wants a late-night push, the dome is heated and open, but nobody expects it.

Proper autumn in the mountains: crisp days, cold nights, maybe rain or even the first snow up high. The dome and the tents are heated, the sauna runs every evening. Bring warm layers, a rain jacket, and shoes you can walk in.

We offer two types: Lotus tents (for two people) and the Half Dome dormitory (for nine people). Lotus tents are glamping tents with electricity, heating, and mountain views. The Half Dome is a shared dorm-style space with heating, a safe, and mirror. For more details, see our Glamping page.

Yes. Private means you stay alone in the tent. Shared means two people per tent - if you're coming with a friend or teammate, both book shared and we'll put you together. If you're solo, we match you with another guest.

All meals are included, cooked fresh every day, mostly from local ingredients. We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most other requirements - just tell us when you book.

You book your spot directly on this page. A 30% prepayment reserves it, and the rest is paid on-site. We don't offer installments at the moment.

Cancel at least 2 weeks before the start and you get a full refund. Within 2 weeks, we can't refund, but get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

From Batumi or Tbilisi, reach Khulo by public transport, then we help with a 4x4 to Tago. For detailed directions, see our How to get to Glamping Tago page.

Quite possibly. In late October the same camp runs Digital Detox & Mental Health Week - a full week without screens, built around mental and physical health. Its exact dates are announced soon; once they are, you'll see how the two line up. Clear head in, working demo out.

Around the same time, the same camp runs a full week without screens, built around mental and physical health. Clear your head first, then build. Exact dates are announced soon.
